Who we are

In this area, we are developing, designing, and supporting leading-edge technology, complex and safety-critical architectures and equipment for the High Lift System part of flight controls for the Airbus product line. This happens in small, but integrated, highly motivated and committed teams, applying the latest development methods and tools.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Design, development and integration of the High Lift System and its sub-system control architecture
  • Definition of the resulting work package contents and activities
  • Application of the technology for automated controls in the context of flight control systems including assessment of filtering, estimation and stability needs
  • Identification of life cycle activities to develop, maintain and support the design/product
  • Define and identify checks and balances along the development cycle in consideration of the project phases and milestone gates to ensure product maturity

Desired skills and qualifications

  • A university degree ( M.Sc. or equivalent ) in electrical engineering, information technology or systems engineering
  • Broad knowledge in at least two of the following disciplines: communication or controls technology, sensing and data generation, software development, systems engineering
  • Good understanding of tool application in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or software development
  • Advanced English and German language skills; French is a plus
  • Team player with good communication skills, personal engagement, and the ability to work in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel for business up to once a month worldwide
