Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a System Designer (f/m) to join our Communication & Sensing System Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing Video and Surveillance systems such as Enhanced Vision System, Anti-Collision, Terrain Awareness and Weather Radar. As part of the Surveillance & Vision group, you will be involved in research, development & support activities aiming at supporting all Airbus program but also preparing the future.

In this position you will work on project that mixes Supplier management, A/C installation activities, Laboratory and Flight tests follow-up, Operational evaluation with pilots and involve a large number of stakeholders.

Your challenges:

• Answering Programs objectives for both Aircraft developments and Aircraft deliveries.
  
• Supporting Customer services.
  
• Supporting Future Airbus Strategy, as a key contributor to autonomous operation in the frame of single Pilot Operations.
  

Your boarding pass:

• An aeronautical/ systems/ avionics engineering background (or equivalent) and significant experience in aeronautic industry.
  
• Technical expertise :
  - Systems software / hardware specification and development
  - Knowledge on vision sensors or surveillance systems
  
• A collaborative, Innovation oriented and Business driven mind set
  
• Excellent communication, persuasion & influencing skills, decision making ability, and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
  
• The ability to speak & work in English is required
