1. Position Summary
An opportunity for a Supply Chain Quality Manager has arisen within Detail Parts Procurement Operations Wing (PIMDW).
The commodity PIMD is managing Procurement Operations Detail Parts perimeter, accountable of sustainable Performance and Development of a world wide portfolio of 395 Suppliers, serving all Airbus Programs, thanks a staff of more than 70 professionals located in France, Germany, UK, Spain, US, Canada and India
You will be responsible to deploy relevant methods to ensure sustainable Details Parts deliveries on time & on quality and supporting Transfers of Work and the Introduction of new products.
The role will also involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
2. Responsibilities
Main tasks :
ENGAGE SUPPLIERS
- Contribute to deployment of SC&Q standards, methods & tools (APQP, AirSupply, eConcessions,...)
- Support and monitor Airbus driven TOW’s through Feasibility study, Preparation, Industrialisation and Cross-over.
- Support and Monitor Supplier Driven TOW’s.
- Contribute to Change management evaluation (supplier change request and Airbus driven change)
- Contribute and Support MFT (Multi-Functional Team) and deployed related strategy
CONTROL SUPPLIERS
- Verify supplier compliance with Airbus and appropriate Aviation Authorities requirements
- Establish the industrial risk analysis and corresponding surveillance plan which will be monitored and adjusted constantly
- Report and escalate issues
- Identify supplier recovery, improvement and development needs
- Secure convergence to industrial Maturity target (supplier capability & capacity)
- Monitor the supplier on Time, on Quality performance and launch relevant actions (protect Airbus production units and supply)
The previous activities are done by using the appropriate means such as:
- Supplier deliverables' proofreading and inspections
- Methods (incl. APQP, Transfer of Work, Supplier Audits & Assessments, Quality Standards)
- Reviews (incl. Key milestones, action plan follow-up meetings, etc...)
- Missions/projects (SQIP, Supplier Development Manager missions etc...)
SECURE SUPPLIER DELIVERIES
- Get visibility on all supplier delivery facts
- Consolidate and analyse the supplier performance picture
- Protect Airbus production units and avoid recurrence of supplier issues
MANAGE PRODUCT NON CONFORMITIES
- Such as NC, Concessions, Quality Survey Reports (QSR), Safety related Items (SARI), In-service issues and Events to eradicate non quality in a sustainable way
- In addition, you have to update the corresponding tools and Support internal and external audits and EASA activities
- Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
3. Personal & Interpersonal Skills
Required skills :
- Solid operational experience ideally in the following areas: Supply Chain & Quality,
- Understanding of Transfer of Work process (APQP, PPAP....)
- Production planning and lean basic knowledge
- Project and risk management
- Gemba attitude
- Proficiency in both English and Korean.
Leadership skills
- Stakeholder management
- Budget setting and control
- Ability to adapt in fast changing environment
- Autonomous and organized
- Good communication skills: presentation, facilitation
