In our " Mechanical Flight Controls, Hydraulics and Actuation " department, we are looking for you to help shape our current and future projects:

Your main mission within the department will be to :

Design, develop and assure continuing airworthiness of civil and military Helicopter Flight Controls, Hydraulics and Actuation.

In the role of the Sub System Responsible and Work Package Manager you will :

- Assume system responsibility for the entire product life cycle taking into account cost, certification, manufacturing and maintainability aspects.

- Develop system requirements, specification of flight control kinematics, actuators, hydraulic system components and mechatronics equipment.

- Create concept and detailed design of flight control, hydraulics and actuation systems and components.

- Plan and manage Development and Research projects with internal and external partners and interfaces

- Master simulation of mechanical and hydraulic systems

- Apply metallic materials for the design of flight control kinematics, apply detailed knowledge of metallic materials, manufacturing and corresponding surface treatments.

- Design and size hydraulic systems and components (actuators, pumps, valves, etc.).

- Integrate flight controls, hydraulics and actuation systems into the helicopters and harmonize corresponding interfaces.

- Execute assembly / integration studies, create detailed design and manufacturing drawings in CATIA V5.

- Generate design justification, qualification and certification documentation.

- Create maintenance concepts and validate maintenance documentation.

- Perform qualification and certification programs.

- Implement product improvements and handle obsolescence.

- Contribute to support the production non conformities treatment.
- Contribute to maintaining continuing airworthiness.- Closely collaborate with architects, avionics, autopilot, flight physics, stress /loads, Final Assembly Line (FAL), customer support, flight test.- Active participation in an international working environment with strong transnational French-German collaboration.- Collaborate with and follow-up development partners and subcontractors.- Collaborate with and follow-up German, French and international suppliers during development, qualification, test, serial support, obsolescence treatment and assuring continuing airworthiness.We offer:

Required skills

- Studies with a master/diploma degree in the field of aerospace or mechanical engineering (FH or university).

- Several years of professional experience in the field of development and project management

- Expert English language skills.
