Vous rejoindrez le département “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” en charge des activités de dynamique du vol spatial et d’analyse mission pour des missions d’observation de la Terre, scientifiques ou de télécommunications. L'équipe “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” développe depuis de nombreuses années un produit logiciel opérationnel de mécanique orbitale (QUARTZ), intégré aux segments sols et réalisant le contrôle de trajectoire de satellites allant de l’orbite basse (LEO) aux satellites géostationnaires (GEO). Votre stage consistera à concevoir et développer un logiciel tierce permettant de réaliser des exécutions programmées de QUARTZ. Cette fonctionnalité a pour objectif à terme de pouvoir proposer une solution simple d’automatisation clé en main à des clients internes ou externes. Vous vous appuierez sur l’expérience opérationnelle de l’équipe “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” pour proposer une solution industrielle robuste répondant aux exigences opérationnelles et aux standards de développement de l’entreprise.Vous serez ainsi intégrés dans l’équipe de développement de QUARTZ, au sein d’un processus agile.Ce stage, d'une durée de

Prise en main du logiciel opérationnel de mécanique orbitale QUARTZ et de son architecture Web (Springboot, Angular, MongoDB), son utilisation et son développement
Définition du besoin fonctionnel du logiciel de planification
Étude & Conception : Réalisation d'un état de l'art sur les solutions possibles et/ou existantes (bibliothèques open-sources), et présentation à l'équipe pour valider le choix technique.
Développement : Implémentation de la solution choisie (interface HTTP/REST et logique métier). Application des méthodes de développement de l’équipe (Clean Code), et mise en place d'une chaîne d’intégration continue.
Documentation technique
Votre tuteur ou tutrice vous accompagnera tout au long de votre stage, vous aidant à développer vos compétences et à atteindre vos objectifs professionnels. Ce stage vous permettra notamment de développer les compétences suivantes :
Développement dans un logiciel industriel et opérationnel (QUARTZ)
Développement de bout en bout d’un logiciel en lien étroit avec les utilisateurs
Expérimentation des méthodes de développement Agiles
Rédaction de documents techniques
Votre carte d’embarquement pour cette aventure : Vous êtes actuellement en dernière année d’étude de niveau BAC+5 (ex : Master 2, 5ème année d'école d'ingénieur, ou équivalent) en Ingénierie des systèmes spatiaux ou un domaine équivalent. Your mission: An internship opportunity titled : "Flight Dynamics Internship - Scheduler software development (m/f)" has just opened at Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse-Palays. You will join the "Flight Dynamics & Mission Analysis" department, which is responsible for space flight dynamics activities and mission analysis for Earth observation, scientific, and telecommunications missions. The “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” team has been developing an operational flight dynamics software product (QUARTZ) for many years, which is integrated into ground segments and performs trajectory control for satellites ranging from low Earth orbit (LEO) to geostationary (GEO) satellites. Your internship will consist of designing and developing third-party software to enable scheduled executions of QUARTZ. The ultimate goal of this feature is to provide a simple, turnkey automation solution to internal or external customers. You will rely on the operational experience of the “Flight dynamics & mission analysis” team to propose a robust industrial solution that meets operational requirements and the company's development standards. You will be integrated into the QUARTZ development team, working within an agile process. Ideally, this is a 6-month internship and it should start in March 2026 (date subject to flexibility). Your main missions will consist of:
Getting to grips with the operational flight dynamics software QUARTZ and its Web architecture (Springboot, Angular, MongoDB), its use, and its development
Defining the functional requirements for the scheduler software
Study & Design: Conducting a state-of-the-art review of possible and/or existing solutions (open-source libraries), and presenting them to the team to validate the technical choice.
Development: Implementing the chosen solution (HTTP/REST interface and business logic). Applying the team's development methods (Clean Code) and setting up a continuous integration pipeline.
