Votre mission, si vous l'acceptez :
Une offre de stage intitulée « Ingénieur IA & Analyse de la Valeur Métier (f/h) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein d'Airbus Commercial Aircraft sur son site de Toulouse (Blagnac). Vous rejoindrez l'équipe « Digital for Manufacturing - Execution Performance & Enablers » au sein du Centre d'Excellence pour les Opérations de Fabrication (DEO).
Votre stage consistera à analyser le mode de fonctionnement et les processus des lignes d'assemblage d'avions pour identifier les points de blocage opérationnels et évaluer la valeur ajoutée concrète que l'Intelligence Artificielle peut apporter, avant de concevoir et développer des prototypes adaptés.
Ce stage, d'une durée de 6 mois, débutera idéalement en Janvier ou Février 2027 (cette période est indicative et pourra être ajustée).
Vos principales missions consisteront à :
• Observation terrain (Gemba) & Analyse des besoins : Observer les routines quotidiennes sur les lignes d'assemblage final, aller à la rencontre des responsables d'unités et opérationnels pour identifier les difficultés du quotidien et formaliser les problèmes.• Identification & Évaluation des cas d'usage IA : Proposer des cas d'usage IA pertinents (Machine Learning, LLM, Agentic AI) et évaluer la valeur métier apportée (gain de temps, efficacité, réduction d'erreurs).• Prototypage & Développement : Concevoir des preuves de concept (PoC), développer des prototypes fonctionnels en Python et évaluer les bénéfices réels par rapport à la valeur attendue.Votre tuteur ou tutrice vous accompagnera tout au long de votre stage, vous aidant à développer vos compétences et à atteindre vos objectifs professionnels.

Your mission :
An internship opportunity titled : « AI Business Value & Exploration Engineer (m/f) » has just opened at Airbus Commercial Aircraft located in Toulouse (Blagnac). You will join the "Digital for Manufacturing - Execution Performance & Enablers" team within the Center of Excellence for Manufacturing Operations (DEO).
Your internship will consist in observing operational routines across aircraft assembly lines, identifying daily pain points, assessing where Artificial Intelligence can bring tangible business value, and developing functional prototypes.
Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January or February 2027 (date subject to flexibility).
Your main missions will consist of :
• Shopfloor observation (Gemba) & Need analysis: Observe daily routines on Final Assembly Lines, meet operational leaders to pinpoint daily pain points, and formalize clear problem statements.
• Use case identification & Value assessment: Identify AI use cases (Machine Learning, LLMs, Agentic AI) and quantify potential benefits (time saved, efficiency, error reduction).
• Prototyping & Development: Design proof of concepts (PoCs), build functional Python-based AI prototypes, and evaluate real operational impact against expected business value.
Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills.
This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:
• In-depth understanding of aircraft manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Practical application of AI technologies (ML, LLM, AI Agents) within a complex industrial IT environment.
• Business process analysis, problem statement formalization, and cross-functional teamwork in an international context.
Your Boarding Pass:
You are preparing a Master 2 / Master's degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering School or University in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Data/AI, or a related field.
