Une offre de stage intitulée «Stage en Techniques de Machine Learning appliquées à la maîtrise des risques aériens (f/h) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein de Airbus Commercial sur son site de Blagnac. Vous rejoindrez le département «Safety Digitalisation» en charge de l'analyse de données pour identifier, mesurer et mitiger les risques de sécurité des avions et de maîtriser le plan d’action associé.

Votre stage consistera à:
Mettre en place des modèles de machine learning appliqués à des données de vols en service pour alimenter d’éventuelles évolutions de nos produits.
Idéalement, ce stage d’une durée d e 6 mois commencera en Mars ou Avril 2026 (la période est communiquée à titre indicatif, et pourra être revue).

Tâches et responsabilités:
Votre tuteur/tutrice vous aidera à identifier vos objectifs professionnels et vous accompagnera dans le développement de vos compétences. Vos principales activités seront les suivantes:

  • Familiarisation avec l'environnement big data et avec les différentes sources de données disponibles
  • Filtrage et nettoyage de la donnée pour assurer sa qualité
  • Mise en place des techniques de machine learning non supervisé (ex. clustering) pour détecter des signaux faibles dans les différentes sources de données avion disponibles (time series)
  • Evaluation et comparaison de l’efficacité des différents modèles testés
  • Interprétation et analyse des résultats obtenus pour générer une valeur ajoutée d’un point de vue sécurité avion


  • Utilisation des techniques de visualisation appropriées afin de communiquer les résultats avec un groupe d’experts en sécurité aérienne

Votre carte d’embarquement :

Vous préparez actuellement un diplôme de niveau Bac +5 (ou équivalent) dans le domaine de l’ analyse de données/Machine learning.

Vous possédez les compétences suivantes :
Programmation (Python, R ou SQL)
Connaissance en Machine Learning
Connaissance ou fort intérêt en aéronautique
Créatif et ouvert, vous proposerez des solutions novatrices
Curiosité, autonomie
Bon relationnel

Travail en équipe
Qualités d’organisation
Capacités de synthèse et présentation

Compétences linguistiques attendues :
Anglais : avancé

Français: avancé

Within the framework of a school curriculum in initial training , you are looking for a compulsory internship or an internship integrated into a gap year, allowing you to validate your year. We offer you the opportunity to work in a world-leading company in its field, focused on digital technology, at the forefront of research and innovation.An internship offer entitled «Machine Learning techniques applied to aviation risk management (f/m) » has just opened within Airbus Commercial on its site Blagnac.

You will join the Safety Digitalisation team in charge of analyzing data in order to identify, measure and mitigate aviation risks and monitor associated safety action plans.

Your internship will consist of:

Put into place machine learning models applied to in-service flight data in order to support potential safety enhancements of Airbus aircraft.

Ideally this 6-month internship will start in March or April 2025 (this date is indicative and can be reviewed).

Tasks and responsibilities:

Your tutor will help you identify your professional objectives and will support you in the development of your competences.

Your main activities will be as follows:

  • familiarization with big data environment and available datasets
  • filtering and cleaning of data to ensure its quality
  • implementation of non-supervised machine learning techniques (eg clustering) in order to detect weak signals in the available aircraft data (time series)
  • assessment and comparison of effectiveness of the different models
  • results' analysis in order to generate added-value for aviation safety
  • use of visualization techniques in order to communicate results with a group of aviation safety experts


This internship will enable you to develop the following skills and knowledge:

  • big data treatment
  • machine learning and data visualization
  • aviation safety
  • aircraft data


Your boarding pass:

  • You are prepare a Master's degree or equivalent in the field of data analysis & machine learning


You have the following skills :

  • Coding (Python, R ou SQL)
  • Knowledge in Machine Learning
  • Knowledge in aerospace (or strong interest in this field)
  • You are creative and open-minded ; you offer innovative solutions
  • You are autonomous and eager to learn
  • You have a good sense of relationships
  • You enjoy team work
  • You are organized and have good presentation skills as well as an ability to summarize information
