Vos défis:

• Participer aux activités de Validation et Vérification (V&V) applicables au développement et certification du système de Commandes de Vol primaires du A220 (FBW),
• Définir les activités de V&V pour chaque exigences,
• Suivre l’avancement des activités de V&V et veiller au respect des plans de développement du système,
• Définir les exigences applicable au niveau des moyens d’essais pour rencontrer les objectifs de test du système,
• Planifier et préparer les campagnes de test,
• Participer à des études permettant de déterminer la meilleure stratégie de mise à jour ou modification des moyens d’essai,
• Supporter la préparation aux tests pour le groupe de contrôles de vol,
• Préparer des processus et des méthodes de travail pour l’équipe V&V pour les activités de validation et vérification des systèmes de contrôles de vol,
• Préparer et réaliser des tests d’investigation, de développement et de certification notamment sur la plateforme de simulation et de certification des systèmes intégrés (Iron Bird) ainsi que sur des moyens d’essai au niveau composants et logiciels.
• Rédiger et revoir des procédures et des rapports d’essais techniques.
• Supporter le processus de validation et vérification des requis techniques.
• Travailler avec d’autres fonctions et disciplines du programme pour fournir et obtenir l’information requise pour assurer la progression des projets de développement et certification.

Votre profil:

En tant que candidat idéal,

• Vous faites preuve de proactivité et avez un intérêt dans l’industrie aérospatiale et l’intégration de système.
• Baccalauréat en génie mécanique, génie électrique ou génie aérospatial (ou l’équivalent) dans une université reconnue et vous avez plus de 5 ans d’expérience.
• Bonne connaissance de spécification, design, intégration, test et certification des systèmes de commandes de vol et/ou de ses composantes.
• Expérience avec les processus de développement de système ARP4754, incluant la décomposition de requis du niveau avion au niveau composante.
• Connaissance du RTCA DO-160 et DO-178;
• Familier avec le processus de certification FAR 25 / CAR 525.
• Expérience avec le système de commandes de vol primaire ou secondaire du A220 ou équivalent (un atout).
• Bonnes compétences d’organisation et de planification.
• Expérience en simulation, avec le logiciel Matlab et Simulink.
• Connaissance des processus de développement basés sur des modèles (MBSE) (un atout)
• Expérience d’un cycle de développement complet du design préliminaire à l’entrée en service (un atout).
• Excellentes habiletés de communication (écrite et orale) en français et en anglais.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe, mais aussi de manière individuelle et vous êtes capable de gérer des priorités dans un environnement dynamique,

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Primary Flight Control V&V Specialist (f/m) to join our Aircraft Control team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work in collaboration with the European Flight Control development teams based in France and Germany.

You will be part of the Flight Control development team responsible for developing the A220 Primary and Secondary Flight Control System.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Primary Flight Control V&V Specialist will be to contribute to the integration and detailed design of the A220 primary flight control system FBW. These activities are carried out in collaboration with our European counterparts within the Airbus Group to leverage lessons learned from other Airbus platforms.

Your challenges:

• Participate in Validation and Verification activities (V&V) applicable to the development and certification of the A220 FBW flight control system,
• Define the V&V activities for each requirement,
• Monitor the FBW V&V activities progress and that the FBW system development is performed per plan,
• Participate in studies to determine best strategies to update or modify existing test benches,
• Plan and prepare test campaign,
• Support preparation of the flight control system test activities on various development test rigs including the Simulation platform, equipment test bench and Integrated Systems Test Certification Rig (Iron Bird),
• Prepare process and work methodology for V&V teams for the validation and verification of flight control systems,
• Prepare and review test procedures and reports,
• Support the technical requirement validation and verification process,
• Coordinate with various Integrated Product Teams/Suppliers, work with all departments for design, validation and verification, testing and certification, support to certification authorities.

Your boarding pass:

As our ideal candidate,

• You are proactive and have an interest in the aerospace industry and systems integration.
• University degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• Good knowledge of the specification, design, integration, test and certification of flight control systems and/or its components.
• Experience in at least one complete development cycle from preliminary design to entry into service (an asset).
• Experience in control systems development processes (based on ARP4754), including requirement decomposition from aircraft down to component level.
• Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and DO-178.
• Familiar with Part FAR 25 / CS 525 certification processes.
• Experience with the A220 flight control system, primary or secondary (considered as an asset).
• Good organizational & planning skills.
• Experience in simulation with Matlab software and Simulink.
• Knowledge of model based development engineering (MBSE) (considered as an asset).
