Job Description:

Provide support to resolution of technical issues on in-service aircraft including repairs, technical adaptations and technical solutions to in-services issue. It includes the following responsibilities:

-Ensure on time and on quality response to Customers related to in-service technical queries.

- Ensure timely delivery of effective repair and technical adaptations solutions for Structure for external and internal Customers on issues affecting Continued Airworthiness.

-Ensure collection and timely reporting of in-service events to Engineering in support of the Continued Airworthiness Process; investigate all significant Structures in service issues and classify them according to their airworthiness or economic impact.

- Provide reliable technical information to Engineering Organization in support of the Continued Airworthiness process;

- Propose an develop repair solutions, develop design, stress and fatigue justification.

-Ensure support, as required, in accident/incidents investigations.

-Ensure compliance of the organization and way of working with the Design Organization Manuals provisions.
- Contribute to final review and acceptance of proposed engineering solutions
- Monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions in service
- Development of communications with Customers / Operators (Operator Information Telex, Service Information Letters, Technical Instructions, Technical Follow Up, etc.)
- Lead assigned MISI (Major In Service Issue) resolution

- Contribute to Engineering Performance Reporting generation and standardization;

- Contribute to the resolution of MFTIs (only A400M) resolution

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product and process

Due to the nature of work, many different interfaces with internal and external customers need to be established in the daily work, and the jobholder has to maintain adequate relations with Aircraft Operators and Maintenance Organization(MRO) providing on time and on quality solutions assisting on Maintenance Tasks and procedures definition
- Airworthiness Authorities: providing answers to airworthiness concerned issues
- Front office: receiving queries and coordinating answers to customers
- Field representatives: collecting additional data and capturing in service issues
- Design office: requiring support and agreeing with them, technical solutions
- Airworthiness Office: coordinating with them actions when safety is involved
- Assembly lines: providing support on analysis of deviations as required
- Technical Publications: Identifying needs for review and/or update
- Service Bulletins: Identifying needs and coordinating support
- Program Integration: focusing through them planning and program issues
- Customer Support: gathering detailed information from Customer’s needs
- Procurement: requesting support to solve issues

Required skills :
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Mandatory
- Engineering Degree.
- Negotiation level in English mandatory.

- Proactive and highly customer minded oriented, able to work under time pressure.

- Good problem solving skills

- Flexible and self-motivated

- Good communication skills

Desirables

- At least 5 years of experience in Structures Design / Stress / Manufacturing
- An intermediate level in Spanish would be an asset
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment

Note that due to the nature of the work, it is required that the jobholder is able to provide (if required) AOG stand-by
