Join the Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation team in Airbus India , a key hub driving this global change. We are looking for a proactive and visionary Senior Data Architect to take a leadership role in shaping the future of aviation.

As a core member of our team, you will be accountable to establish and centrally manage the federated ontology and other business- and IT data architecture models. You will be instrumental in implementing a data mesh approach across the entire company, fostering data continuity, advanced analytics, and strategic decision-making. Primary Responsibilities: Drive Global Data Strategy

Lead Data Federation: Drive the data federation strategy and implementation across various business domains, working closely with Data Offices and Data Architects, leveraging shared governance, methods, and tools.

Hold accountability for the integrity and evolution of the global enterprise data architecture model, with a focus on seamless data flows along critical business processes and between key applications.

Champion and ensure adherence to shared standards across all contributors to the federated data architecture.

Ensure enterprise architects and IM product development teams do consume and effectively reuse enterprise data architecture assets.

Provide critical feedback to owners of related governance, methods, and tools to drive their continuous refinement and excellence.

Contribute significantly to the data-related strategy, translating it into a tangible roadmap for the data architecture referential, aligning with both business and IM priorities.

Lead and mentor a team of data modellers to support and execute these critical responsibilities.

Collaborate with the product development team to refine the methods and tools for advanced data architecture modeling and consumption.

Qualification & Experience: Your Profile

Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience in modeling large ontologies, data architecture, and enterprise architecture, including proficiency in modeling standards and managing model repositories.

Experience: At least 15+ years of overall experience in the IT / Data field with 8+ years of extensive IT Architecture experience, with a proven track record in designing scalable, cost-effective solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.

Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Data Management technologies and solutions, including respective use cases and business benefits.

Aviation Knowledge: The global understanding of the business context of an Aircraft manufacturer in order to connect the business needs business and IM solutions is a plus.

Analytics Focus: Practical experience in data analytics, dashboarding, and related applications.

Leadership & Soft Skills: High level of stakeholder and conflict management skills, with a proven leadership posture necessary to guide transversal and transnational stakeholders. You must be able to inspire trust, encourage open communication, and demonstrate flexibility.

Global Collaboration: Significant international experience and proven ability to thrive in multicultural teams.

Communication: English language proficiency is essential.
