Job Objectives

Our mission is to ensure the commercial success of our product line, “Satair Repair Services” by driving its profitable growth. We hold the full ownership of our services - covering the repair, lease, and exchange of high-value structural aircraft parts (like flight controls) as well as avionics, and mechanical components (like PDUs and smoke detectors from leading OEMs) and are in charge of the strategic and tactical steering of the Repair Services Product Line.

You will be the core driver, accountable for steering the strategic growth and profitability of our component business across APAC, managing the full commercial portfolio while building essential, high-value relationships with global OEMs, customers, and key stakeholders within Airbus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Business growth: Drive business expansion for the Satair Repair Services Component Business out of APAC, formulating robust business cases to strategically expand the service portfolio (on OEM- and service levels) to best utilize our Singapore footprint and serve the customers in the region to the best extent.
  • Financial Performance: Participate in financial planning, including the annual budgeting process and monthly financial performance analysis, implementing targeted strategies to achieve ambitious financial targets for your component product range.
  • Contractual & Proposal Management: Direct the full cycle of proposal management for major RfIs and RfPs linked to the APAC region, coordinating critical inputs from the wider repair organization to draft and submit commercially compelling and attractive business proposals. For existent contractual agreements, execute contract reviews and strategic renewals, ensuring optimal commercial alignment and sustained profitability.
  • Business improvement & efficiency increase: Lead and facilitate cross-functional initiatives across Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to drive continuous process improvements and enhance business synergy.
  • Market Insights: Cultivate and maintain a strong, strategic network across the APAC region, including key customers and MROs. Act as the voice of the customer by attending regional meetings, channeling insights back into the organization to drive future service improvements and developments of new service offerings.


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with the Repair Services Strategy and business objectives, providing critical support to Account Directors to accelerate sales growth.
  • Support the footprint expansion of the Satair Repair Business in Asia in line with roll-out of Repair Strategy.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience within the aviation aftersales industry, preferably in component repair services, MRO, or aftermarket sales/product management.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing product P&L, driving commercial growth, and developing strategic business cases to secure new revenue streams.
  • Solid business acumen with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to actively bring different functions together, including representatives from various regions and functions
  • Experience in presenting to senior leadership and customers.
  • Innovative thinking by independently developing solutions to existing challenges, and to drive continuous business improvement.
