We are looking for a new SAP Warehouse consultant to be part of supporting a growing supply chain business where SAP is at the heart of all operations.
As an IT SAP Consultant, you will be part of designing the future warehouse solution with a special attention to EWM and a new document management system. We would like to have a candidate with a focus on a 360-degree view on Logistical areas within SAP and Non-SAP systems
The position will be located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What the job is …
Our new SAP Consultant will be part of a team of 10 SAP solution experts.
The SAP team works closely with colleagues in the business area and supports the central and regional process owner community, process specialists and super-users.
The team is placed in Amager, Copenhagen but travels to Satair’s regional offices from time to time.
Travels are expected to take place once to twice a year.
As our new SAP Consultant, you will work closely with a colleague with similar experience as well as having a team of external consultants supporting you in your everyday job.
The SAP Consultant working on the SAP Warehouse solution consists of 6 people working closely with Warehouse - and Operations teams.
Your main responsibilities will be
Participate as project lead in SAP application related projects
Define and set up new functionality in Satair’s SAP application landscape
Coordinate technical issues and improvement with the technical IT staff
Observing current market trends and technologies, proposing those trends to the business they add value to logistics solutions.
Provide expertise in the areas of inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, and resource management within SAP EWM.
Work closely with the project team to ensure successful integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP ERP.
Conduct workshops and training sessions for Trainers / end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP EWM system.
How you will contribute to the team
The excellent candidate is customer-minded with an ability to work in an international context.
Strong knowledge on SAP Warehouse mgmt., extended warehouse, SAP MM / PP and also cross functional knowledge for CS , FI/CO , SD is a plus.
The job requires a command of both written and spoken English.
You need a set of good analytical skills, ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid- to long term recommendations on the way forward.
We would like to see a diplomatic sense and open/‘out-of-silo’ mind-set plus- ability to build successful relations across functions and with all stakeholders
