Airbus India is looking for a Head of E&C for Airbus, South Asia (including India) reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, India based in Bengaluru, India

The Airbus Ethics and Compliance Programme has been designed with this aim in mind, and relies on a talented and diverse network of compliance professionals for its effective implementation.

Key tasks

  • Ensure proper support on all Ethics and Compliance matters for Airbus India including training, investigation, communications and controls.
  • Oversee and ensure the consistent implementation of Airbus’ Ethics and Compliance programme in collaboration with relevant Legal and Compliance teams; support on remedial actions to be taken in response to the findings of controls or investigations.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the continuous deployment of first level anti-corruption controls within Airbus India.
  • Assist anti-corruption risk assessment and internal control self-assessment exercise; follow-up and provide dedicated support on remedial actions to be taken in response to the findings of controls or investigations
  • Oversee and implement policies on third parties, remediate conflicts of interest and decide on Ethics and Compliance approval of Gifts and Hospitality, and Sponsorships, Donations and Memberships requests, either directly or when escalated by subsidiaries.
  • Deliver Ethics and Compliance training and awareness campaigns and promote a Speak Up culture across the operations.
  • Drive actions within the Ethics and Compliance Representative (ECR) network
  • Investigate non corporate compliance allegations and/or support the investigation of corporate investigations.


Required Educational Background and Experience:

  • Qualified lawyer with 12 + years’ experience, including advising on anti-bribery and corruption risks and compliance programmes;
  • Proven experience of building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; sound business judgement; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;
  • Excellent communications and writing skills;
  • Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
  • Languages: Commercially fluent in English;
  • Experience in the aerospace industry would be beneficial.
