Job Description:

An Environment Officer will develop, maintain and/or improve the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001:2015.

They will identify environmental aspects/impacts of technologies, products, services and activities with a life-cycle perspective, manage risks and opportunities considering environmental and societal trends, and improve environmental performance through environmental technologies and eco- design.

Typical activities will also involve participation in defining and/or deploying the Airbus Environmental Policy, ensuring environmental awareness, assisting with internal/external audits, managing documentation and engaging/communicating with both internal and external interested parties.

Key Responsibilities:

- monitor global regulatory intelligence related to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

- Support sustainability regulations mapping.

- Monitor and assess trade relations between the EU, China, and the US, with a focus on aviation and sustainability.

Key qualifications:

- University degree (Master's preferred) in Political Science, Economics, Business, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related fields.

- Valid study/internship visa for China.

- Ideally, some professional or internship experience in a relevant field.

- A keen interest in sustainable aviation, energy policies, or environmental issues in China is a plus.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
