Product Manager MCX Infrastructure (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Product Manager (m/f) to join Public Safety & Security (PSS) at Elancourt, France.

You will be part of a team developing and commercializing 3GPP-based MCX Solutions. Within the Portfolio team you will be in charge of the product management of the MCX backend solution, aimed at nation-wide deployments for public safety and defense segments.

Your challenges:

Definition of the roadmap and backlog management:

• Analyze the market needs, technology evolution and the competition
  
• Define the product strategy of the MCX infrastructure (MCX backend software, 3GPP interfaces, IT Platforms)
  
• Guide the R&D Engineering by managing the backlog for each release
  
• Manage the solution evolutions requests and arbitrate the R&D budget allocation
  
• Develop migration strategies from Narrowband (Tetra / Tetrapol) to MCX
  
• Develop migration strategies from 3rd Party MCX to Airbus MCX
  
• Manage the lifecycle of the solution.
  

Commercial launch of the releases:

• Support to create business model, pricing policy and go-to-Market plan
  
• Provide contents for Marketing materials (white papers, brochures, sales guides, marketing slide set, online articles)
  
• Deliver product and roadmap presentations & promote at customer meetings, exhibition, trade shows and also within Airbus
  
• Deliver training to other teams, like sales, business analysts, bid teams
  
• Support negotiations with customers and associated bids (answer questions related to the solution, roadmap commitments, specific business model or pricing).
  

Your profile:

• Min. 10 years of working experience related to 4G/5G core networks or similar technologies aimed at providing resilient backend infrastructure for large deployments
  
• Good understanding of relevant 3GPP standards
  
• Good knowledge of public safety and defense segments
  
• Customer oriented mindset and highly motivated to work in a collaborative environment
  
• Language skills: fluency in both French and English.
