Your working environment:

  • Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10.000 e-learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, expert career path, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.

At Airbus, we support you to work, connect and collaborate more easily and flexibly. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.

Your challenges:

  • Defining the manufacturing process (Build Process), designing industrial files (routings, bills of materials, standard instructions), and managing the production transfer related to workload offloading.
  • Managing technical sequencing, validating subcontractor cost and time estimates, and ensuring delivery and quality targets are met.
  • Identifying flow bottlenecks, monitoring maturity KPIs, proposing corrective action plans, and assessing the industrial or budgetary impacts of modifications.
  • Resolving complex technical production issues (machining, sheet metal work), and auditing the capacity and technical skills of external offloading suppliers.
  • Serving as the primary interface between Manufacturing Engineering, production, quality, and subcontractors through active participation in management routines (SQCDP, MPS, PPS).

Regular travel is to be expected in France and abroad.

Your boarding pass:

  • Background with a specialization in production, aeronautical maintenance, or industrial engineering.
  • Required experience: Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering / Methods (ideally 3 to 5 years minimum) within the sheet metal and machining fields in an aerospace environment.
  • Technical knowledge: Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (CATIA V5), blueprint reading (BOM, ISO tolerancing), problem-solving methodologies (PPS), Legacy processes, and flow management.
  • Strong diagnostic and organizational skills, cross-functional leadership to manage subcontractors, a solution-oriented mindset (PPS mindset), excellent communication, and adaptability to frequent travel.
  • Fluent French and professional English are mandatory (national and international project context and skill teams).
