We are looking for a PMO (Project Management Officer) to join our Future Air Power PMO team, with a specific focus on managing and supporting strategic projects in Spain. The ideal candidate will contribute to the standardization of processes, planning, and tracking of key projects, ensuring their efficient execution and alignment with the company's objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and optimize project management processes and tools for Future Air Power's Spanish projects, in line with Airbus Defence and Space standards.
  • Support Project Managers in detailed planning, progress tracking, risk management, and reporting for assigned projects.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and decision logs.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and Spanish partners.
  • Monitor project performance, identify deviations, propose corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate and consolidate project information for the preparation of executive reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Participate in the implementation of best practices in project management and the continuous improvement of the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Act as the key point of contact for all PMO-related matters for Spanish projects.

Job Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3-5 years in PMO or Project Management roles, preferably in complex environments and/or the aerospace/defense sector.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (C1), both spoken and written.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Primavera P6).
  • Proven ability to work independently, organize own work, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with the defense industry and the dynamics of international projects is a plus.
