The Opportunity
Airbus International Services currently have an opportunity for a Ground, Simulator and Flight
Instructor/Examiner (GI / SFI / TRI-TRE / IRI) on Airbus Helicopters.
The successful candidate will provide the following duties for customer missions:
• Perform ground instruction on AH helicopters: initial type rating, initial instrument rating,
difference course, proficiency checks, emergency procedures, human factor, etc...
• Prepare simulator missions sessions (briefings, pedagogical tools...),
• Conduct flight training sessions on helicopters he is rated on (H135) initial instrument rating,
difference course, proficiency checks, emergency procedures, maturing sessions, human factor
dedicated missions, etc...,
• Conduct post maintenance flights when requested and in accordance with AH FLM,
• Debrief on trainings using AH + operators supports,
• Grade trainee’s performance and presentation for test/check
• Fill trainee’s folder in accordance with AH’s policy and authority regulations
• Support and assist trainees with difficulties, reporting to AIS/AH subsidiary head of training,
• Remain current, trained and updated on AH helicopters procedures.
• Assist customer in preparing operational documentation, including but not limited to: SOPs,
recurrent and safety training manuals, MEL, and all documentations required by customer.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• EASA TRI/IRI license and authorization
• Rated and current on H135
• The ability to deliver training in English (at least level 4 English proficiency ICAO)
• Trained and standardized pedagogical training and tools by AH group and subsidiaries
• Approval from ETX Chief test pilot,
• Demonstrated excellent teaching skills with trainee’s pilots
• Willing to have a flexible work planning (including week end, late slots...) based on FFS and
helicopters availability and customer requests,
• Able to travel for short term missions and/or to relocate if needed for long term mission.
