  • Monitoring of the reviews and checks to be carried out by the different areas involved to comply with the established planning.
  • Timely communication with the project managers and technical managers on the evolution of the design and compliance with the planning.
  • Ensure the availability of components in libraries and tools:
  • Review and verification prior to the start of the PCB design, detecting potential database errors, both internal and at the level of other AIRBUS centers.
  • Ensure the use of the correct legacy-CRISA libraries and harmonized libraries; its modifications, updates and implementations in databases related to PCB design

Knowledge of rules and procedures

  • Constant updating of new technologies and procedures derived from technological implementations in our field.
  • Constant updating of the new regulations to be applied: ECSS, IPC, MIL, …

Training in Design tools for users.

  • Advice to mechanical and thermostructural engineers of the different assemblies and their application to the PCB.
  • Advice to electrical engineers regarding the positioning of functions, routing and treatment of power and critical elements.
  • Advice to manufacturing engineers in the generation of documentation and clarification of the assembly instructions.
  • All this within the Mentor Graphics /DxDesigner/ Expedition design tool

Support in design tools for users.

Training and support to use of the following design tools for users:

  • Mentor Graphics/DxDesigner.
  • Mentor Graphics/Expedition.
