Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Overall Systems V&V Leader (f/m) to join our Airbus Design Office, based in Toulouse, France.

You will join a dynamic team whose mission is to drive and engage the Airbus Systems Community to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of the aircraft systems, defining and implementing new standards that leverage new technologies and methodologies. As a member of the “Overall Systems V&V, Certification and Integration” team, you will collaborate with stakeholders such as systems architects, system designer teams, ground and flight test teams, R&T teams.

You will work on the critical project dedicated to the replacement of our Single Aisle family. Five functional streams have been identified on this project, including Operate Aircraft (OPAC), which is where most of the systems are represented. Your main role will be to lead, for the Operate Aircraft (OPAC) perimeter, the overall systems V&V activities associated with the ground / flight test demonstrators that are currently being launched. Apart from this role on the OPAC perimeter, you will also have to make the link between the five functional streams to ensure that the V&V needs are well covered at overall systems level.

Your challenges:

• Understanding the aircraft technical baselines and architecture trades
  
• Understanding the new system technology bricks
  
• Understanding the list of critical topics identified for the systems perimeter of this project, especially for the OPAC perimeter
  
• Authoring the High-Level Validation and Verification Objectives (HLVVOs) for the OPAC perimeter, in coordination with the systems architects
  
• Authoring the High-Level Validation and Verification Objectives (HLVVOs) shared between the five functional streams of the project, in coordination with the systems architects and with the V&V representatives of all the functional streams
  
• Coordinating all the local V&V leaders to make sure that these HLVVOs will be properly understood / cascaded
  
• Coordinating with the testing / modelling community to make sure that the HLVVOs are properly converted to modelling / testing needs
  
• Following the simulation / test campaigns to provide an overall V&V status for the project
  
• Reporting technical and progress status in project Technical Reviews
  

Your boarding pass:

• Good overall aircraft systems Knowledge
  
• Strong experience in aircraft systems or functions development (mono-system or multi-systems), whether in Design Office or in Testing organizations
  
• Good knowledge of the V&V process would be an advantage
  
• Negotiation level of English and French
  

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
