A temporary vacancy for a production engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid)
RESPONSABILITIES:
- The jobholder, as part of MRO / Production team, shall support correct execution of A400M MRO programm.
- The jobholder shall be responsible of managing daily tasks in A400M MRO in Getafe, according to Dock Manager strategy.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Supporting daily SQCDP meetings (L2 & L3)
- Leading operative planning of station
- Leading defects routine meetings
- Shopfloor support, with the aim of avoiding or minimizing blocking points impacting planning.
- Reporting and following-up the recollection that Work Orders incidences, ensuring minimum planning impact.
- Analysing in advance Service Bulletins to be implemented with the aim of identifying risks.
- Preparing shopfloor Work Packages of MRO and Retrofit activities, ensuring these activities are performed correctly, according operators competences and expertise.
- Preparing shopfloor Work Packages to maximize sinergies between Retrofit, Maintenance and MRO.
- Preparing Performance Tracker for MRO & Combined events, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Distributing Work Packages between shopfloor teams according to tactical and operative planning.
- Cost controlling. Control of incurred hours, both WC and BC, with special focus on remote workers out of area facilities.
- Attendance control of BC of the station. Weekly resources allocation and daily control of correct fulfillment.
- Training follow-up. Identifying training gaps, require training sessions to PCM, assign people to these sessions and ensure the attendance.
- Leading and supporting improvement projects of station.
- Identifying and analysing shopfloor deviations to optimize activities and ensure OCOTOQ deliveries.
DELVERABLES
The jobholder shall:
- Prepare a operative planning of event/station to ensure OCOTOQ commitments.
- Update operative planning daily, if necessary, and report to affected areas: Production, Quality, ME, Production control, ...
- Defects planning, avoiding impact on planified tasks.
- Ensure correct processes and rules application.
- Report monthly incurred status, including BC and WC.
- Report weekly qualifications status: HPS; AMMA ITAR; AirNav, ...
- Weekly resources assignation and fulfill reporting files.
- Create Work Orders files, at the beginning of the event.
- Create Defects files, at the beginning of the event.
- Supporting area and station improvement projects.
- Weekly report with aircraft risks and blocking points.
- Support to Operational Surveillance activities.
- Weekly report with training sessions expected on next week.
- Control IT Means, to aovid uncorrect assignation.
REQUIRED COMPETENCES:
- Industrial, aeronautical engineer, or similar.
- Spanish: native. English: fluent
- Experience on A400M MRO Production department
- Knowledge od Pelicano Plus and Pelicano Web
- Knowledge of deviations module in Pelicano Web
- Knowledge of SAP, focus on incurred transactions.
- Knowledge of Excel (visual basic)
- Knowledge of DEMAT
- Knowledge of PPS tools.
- Capacity of adaptation to VUCA environment: stress, conflicts management, teamwork, ...

SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in Production department in a MRO/Part 145 environment.
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
- Experience in managing conflicts.
- Advanced level in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to propose new ideas
