Modelling and Simulation Engineer

Looking for a great opportunity to develop your technical & leadership skills in a multifunctional and multidisciplinary environment? You want to play an active role in the development of business digital transformation.

The main three drivers for this mission are:

  • Enabling smart automation and complex functions via the MBSE framework by managing new capabilities and by supporting MBSE Tools deployment
  • New System Engineering way of working, supported by new approach and MBSE method & framework
  • Ensuring more robust development of aircraft programs and new architectures.

The various activities to be performed are:
• Development of behavioural/physical models for various aircraft systems.
• Verification and validation (V&V) of the models on target simulation platforms.
• Ensure support for integration of these models with other system models to represent broader aircraft behaviours.
• Working on the evolutions of models based on the change requests, system updates, etc.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders during system V&V campaigns across multiple aircraft
programs.
• Support the initiatives in the domain of system simulation driven by the systems community of
Airbus globally.
• Automate to support analysis and V&V for different system models.
Allied Activities:
• Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
• Create collaboration topics to improve the process, methods and tools

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree(preferred) in Aerospace Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with 3-8 years of experience in SE/MBSE/MBD
  • Understanding of DO178C, DO331, DO160 regulations
  • Experience in Verification and Validation of Avionics embedded software, including writing test cases and procedures to cover Statement , Structural , decision / MCDC . (DAL A, B,C )
  • Understanding of communication protocols used in Aerospace. Experience in modelling / Coding & testing, Software / system communication protocol - AFDX, CAN, ARINC.
  • Understanding of V cycle consisting of requirements writing, architecture development, design, implementation, verification, validation, maintaining traceability, documentation in context of systems development.
  • Experience in using some of the modelling & simulation tools like Simulink, Model advisor, Code Inspector, Polyspace Bug Finder and Code Prover tool boxes. Coding abilities using MATLAB
  • Experience in MIL, SIL and HIL testing.
  • Propulsion Control system for A350/A380 (good to have control systems knowledge)
  • Experience in Jira, Jenkins, Sysdops, version control will be valuable.
  • Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team.
  • Soft skills : Good communication, Active listening, influencing
  • Advanced level of English
  • French knowledge will be an added advantage
