We are looking for a Mobile Electrical Solutions Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team. The role mission is to work together with Projects/ products and other Airbus Stakeholders, in order to achieve compliance of the products delivered by our company. The role belongs to the Mobile Solutions Engineering department, the centre of competence for stationary and mobile systems in the field of command and control systems, communication systems, mobile hospitals, border security systems and facility development.
Responsibilities:
- From product or architecture requirements produce a specification.
- Define interfaces of the electrical systems.
- Produced system diagrams and/or circuit diagram.
- Consider and design to electrical safety guidelines.
- Perform detailed design in CAD/CAM implementation on component/ equipment/ mechanical level in accordance with engineering design rules.
- Define test strategy and validate design.
- For Electrical system/sub-system/module/equipment/component, provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
- Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single sub-system / equipment / component / module.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of system concepts, system architectures and system specifications of electrical installations
- Programming SPS control systems (Siemens TIA Portal)
- Conception, detailed design, definition of interfaces of subsystems and electrical assemblies
- Construction design using system (electrical) documentation for electrical system components (hardware and software)
- Development of specifications for tests and trials using the ECAD EPLAN tool
- Performing system and integration tests
- Provision of technical assistance for the benefit of subcontractors
- Assisting in the commissioning of systems and subsystems
- Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required;
Requirements:
- BSc in an Electrical Engineering domain
- Experience in an Electrical Engineering domain, for minimum 5 years
- Familiarity with safety and compliance related standards and best practices, including EU Directives on CE marking, with an accent on electrical safety standards
- English language minimum conversational/ business level – mandatory
- German language minimum conversational (B1 level) – desirable
- Computer literate medium to advanced level
- Systems Engineering knowledge is a plus
Competencies:
- Minimum certification in an electrical safety or compliance international or national recognized related training framework (electrical safety manager/ officer, PRC Specialist, EHS Specialist, electrical engineering)
- Good organizational skills, problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working in a multicultural environment / as part of a team
- Developed analytical skills and a structured way of working
- The ability to work in a team and to perform tasks independently
