Location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Configuration of Functional and System Integration Test Benches, to keep aircraft representativity at the Airbus Lab Test means

• Creation of test cases to support V&V activities

• Dataloading of A/C Systems

• Definition of test procedures, execution of lab test campaigns and analysis of test data

• Identifying problems with analysis and documentation

• Documentation of test results according to DETA process

• Design and verification of lab test means modifications.

• Support on T/S of In-Service issues (MISP/RFW/QSR)

• Support on T/S at the FAL for Ground and Flight Tests

• Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required qualification

The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aerospace engnieering, mechanical or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways.

Desired skills and competences

• Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility

• Profound knowledg and experience in Air Conditioning systems, Single Aisle; LR and A350 A/C Systems for ATA21 and ATA36: (VCS, ACS, CSAS, CPCS, OHDS)

• Advanced experience in System Integration Testing

• Good knowledge in A/C systems interfacing ATA21, e.g. FWS, CMS, ACMS.

• Aircraft bus systems and protocols: AFDX, CAN, A429

• Data visualization with NI Diadem

• A/C Maintenance Tools ABD-Tool (EBTF & EDAT)

• Knowledge and experience with CANallyzer, Config Management Tool Catega and Google Workspace

• Airbus Business Process: DE.TA 01, 02 & 04

• Knowledge in configuration management process

• Data analysis skills

• German fluent and advanced written and spoken English
