Are you looking to master the complexity of aircraft systems at the leading edge of flight simulation and test means instrumentation?

An exciting opportunity for a Lab Test Means (LTM) Architect (m/f) has opened within the Lab Test Means department. You will be at the heart of aircraft development, responsible for the architecture evolution, and full verification of a Long Range (LR) simulator before its entry into service.

We believe in continuous development. You will start by working alongside a seasoned architect gaining quick hands-on experience through the V&V phase and architecture changes definition, learning your way as an architect towards LR LTM developments and upgrades.

Task & accountabilities :

Your core mission will include :

  • Architecture: Defining and specifying technically and economically viable architecture solutions within project timelines. Leading the functional verification
  • Technical coordination: Ensuring technical coherence between all LTM core designs (elec, meca, simulation, instrumentation).
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing complex hardware/software issues during V&V to maintain high simulator availability.
  • Systems Integration: Building your Multi-ATA knowledge by mastering the full system view, that can include real and simulated aircraft systems, wiring, electrical/electronics, mechanical/hydraulic or software aspects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively enhancing internal workflows and "ways of working."

We are looking for someone with skills and experience amongst the following :

  • Knowledge in A/C system architecture
  • Experience in test mean design (hardware or software) or architecture
  • Experience in troubleshooting or testing
  • Experience in coordination and project management
  • Customer focused and good communication skills
  • Strong Team spirit and curiosity,
  • Adaptability and pro-activity
  • Capacity to take a step back.
  • Good level of English, French is mandatory
