Responsibilities - your mission:

  • Act as an extended member of the central Procurement function (Direct) for Tactical Sourcing for the assigned scope
  • Manage a high-volume scope for ad-hoc sourcing activities
  • Source and secure commercial conditions for customers orders and quotes (all product types)
  • Manage requests for quotation (RFQ) to fulfill (internal) customers requirements
  • Lead review meetings on a particular Material Category to fulfill customers requests
  • Identify recurrent root causes and implement corrective actions when required
  • Closely collaborate and support in the daily operations, relevant Customer Service stakeholders (e.g. Supply officers, Product Management, Planning)
  • Contribute to development, optimization and implementation of new tools and processes (digitalization)
  • Identify cost saving potentials and realization for short term demands
  • Contribute to supplier rating, risk assessment and manage deviations by taking appropriate actions to protect Airbus interest
  • Manage operational and financial KPIs and reporting and launching actions in case of need

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

  • The jobholder will have a Procurement background of 2 to 5 years; equivalent experience in sourcing or purchasing operations will also be considered
  • Strong negotiation skills with the capacity to drive and monitor cost reduction initiatives or avoidances via supplier engagement
  • Easily adaptable to the Airbus E2E Procurement tools (SAP, E-Proc, Skywise, etc.) and will be used to Google suite

  • A results-oriented professional with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convince, influence, and communicate effectively across all levels
  • Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in international collaboration and negotiations.
  • Collaborative team player comfortable working in remote and multicultural environments
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
