Job Description:

An opportunity for Jigs and Tools Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz).

Responsabilities:

The main tasks will be:

Ensure successful industrialization of Jigs and Tools assets (creation, development and modification) based on identified needs until final acceptance and handover to the corresponding Operations Manager.

*Design and/or specify the requested Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements from Manuf. Engineering Process Engineer, Operations, Maintenance Engineer and Plant/ FAL Quality Assurance Representative for Jigs and Tools, as well as Human Factors, e.g. Health and Safety and Ergonomics, Environmental, Security, including Cyber Security, and legal aspects, such as Export Control or Marking.

Ensure integration of these requirements in J&T technical specification.

*Ensure the provided solution is fully integrated within the industrial system through a robust acceptance process set on defined Key Performance Indicators.

*Contribute to the purchasing phases of the Jigs and Tools asset, including technical specification for call for tender.

*Support Finance activities to elaborate the CapEx and/or OpEx dossier.

*Support Plants/ FALs in all the activities where a Jig and/or Tool asset is involved.

*Support root cause analysis of Non Conformities and improvement projects.

*Integrate mature industrial technologies in link with R&D. Collaborate with R&D to integrate requirements and consolidate Airbus Industrial Vision.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.

High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode

Advanced level in English. and Spanish.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to propose new ideas.
