A vacancy for ISSM HW/SW Integration Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. In support of Laboratory Testing campaigns, ensure that Lab Test Means are configured for the test according to the necessary hardware, software, simulation models, contributing Systems and additional tools that usually are specified in the Lab Test Report (LTR), and ensuring that all measuring equipment used are adequate for the test and are appropriately calibrated.

Tasks & accountabilities

• Define Simulator configuration and integrate simulation models for Software Standards
• Maintain the Lab Test Means and manage logistics associated to support to Lab Testing.
• Support the stakeholders of test means in their tasks by preparation of the test means for the system, sub-system, equipment, component or module validation and verification activities, maintaining the test mean configuration in the dedicated configuration management tools, performing required maintenance activities of test means, performing failure investigations and problems solving, Unit Under Test UUT handling.
• Ensure the safe operation of the test means and tools by applying and respecting applicable standards.
• Problems troubleshooting Management of simulators' configuration Management of software and hardware evolutions.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level in Engineering.
• Experience level: less than 1 year.
• English Profesional Level required.

The candidate will work in a multinational and multicultural team requiring negotiation capabilties and very good communication skills.
