Job Description:

An opportunity for an EIS/IT Project Manager for Custumer Support has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Eindhoven (Netherlands). The selected candidate will join the Information Management Team.

Working in IM means living global trends (developments) such as digitialization, innovation and new way of working.

IS/IT FLEET & FLIGHT OPERATIONS department is the prime business partner in the Customer Services Business Lines for MRO, Fleet Management and Flight Ops. systems as part of the overall IM organization:
- The department offers both IS/IT solutions, business consultancy and technical support to commercial department in our areas of expertise
- The area has a wide variety of customers, not only internal but also external (Philipinnes, SP MoD, Canada, Europe countries...), and supported airframes, some specific (C235, C295, MRTT, EF, A400M...) and other transversal systems, usable by anyone System map definition for customers at EIS.
- Consultant to the business concerning Maintenance activities, Fleet Management and Flight Ops of IM with respect to possible optimizations and customizations in respective tools or introduction of new tools to support the business processes in the best way
- Maintenance, Fleet Management and Flight Ops. IS/IT systems project management and development Services operation related with the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this frame, the jobholder will be responsible for performing the following activities on time, on cost and on quality:
1. Participating in all phases of a project/service:
- Participating with the customer in the requirement definition.
- Developing functional analysis to describe the new functionalities.
- Assisting the development team in preparing customer documentation and training.
- Preparing, validating and testing operational procedures related to the subject product or service.
- Ensuring the training to the helpdesk.
- Organizing the training.
- Preparing and managing the system for the entry into service.
2. Monitor and control team members and activities.

3. Assist the customer in the day to day work issues:

- Coordinate the development teams in the service support.

- Evaluate and resolve the Customer queries and demands.

- Capture and analyze the Customer request.

- Propose evolutions in the tools based on the Customer operative.

SKILLS

  • Engineering degree.
  • Information Systems: Less than 3 years.
  • Project management: Less than 3 years.
  • Soft skills: Communication, lifelong learning.
  • Spanish and English: Advanced.
  • Nice to have: software Maximo.
