Internship in Logistics and Digital Supply Chain (d/f/m)

Your location: Hamburg Finkenwerder
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Contribute to productivity improvements to increase the competitiveness of Airbus with main focus on a highly efficient logistics chain from supplier to the "Point of Delivery" at the assembly station
- Significant contribution to the rate readiness of the logistics flows and warehousing activities
- Achieve task Targets (time, scope, costs and quality) to satisfy customers
- Definition, establishment and empowerment of the project team and organizations, including people from other divisions (Matrix organization), during all Project phases
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student in the area of Transport Management, International Logistics and Supply Chain Management an equivalent field of study.
- Structured and results-oriented working methods
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent strong communication, negotiation and team-working skills
- Willingness to work in a multi-cultural and -functional working environment
- Fluent in German and English is a must
- Analytics proficiency of SAP data is a requirement
