Your tasks and responsibilities

As an intern you will learn about how to test, as representative as possible, hybrid electric Propulsion Units in a laboratory environment, supporting our team in electrotechnical, mechanical, thermodynamic or test measurement system test bench design.

You will learn about the test process, the test environment, the test execution and the reporting. This challenging role offers the opportunity for interdisciplinary learning in areas such as electrical machines, cooling, sensor technology, data acquisition, and cryogenic cooling.

• Support commissioning of test bench equipment.
  
• Support testing and characterization of test bench equipment.
  
• Analyze test data and write test reports
  
• Improve testability by set up parts of the test bench cockpit
  
• Support test bench safety by testing safety measures of the test bench
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Electrotechnical-, Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautic and Space or an equivalent field of study.
  
• First practical experience in the field of Matlab (and programming in general), Microsoft Office or Google Suite is desirable.
  
• Fluent in English is mandatory and German is nice to have
  
• You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
