Intern within Finance Transformation, Governance, Process and Innovations (d/f/m)

  • Location: Taufkirchen/Ottobrunn
  • Start: April-May 2026
  • Duration: 5-6 months

As an intern you will acquire a deep understanding about the fascinating world of Finance. The Finance Transformation team drives the transformation of the Airbus DS Finance team, identifying the value proposition, assessing value streams, modeling of workflows, defining Lean and Agile working practices and proposing new innovative and digital solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our Finance processes.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Analysis of the Finance value creation through reviewing user journeys
  • Develop improvement proposals by ideating process redesigns and assessing digital solution in collaboration with the users
  • Support the team in managing and tracking the Finance improvement portfolio, measuring the impact through KPIs
  • Build, improve and actively promote a collaboration and Knowledge platform for the Finance transformation and innovation activities to engage the Finance ecosystem.
  • Support the implementation of our Data Analytics and AI strategy in Finance
  • Develop and prototype use cases with our in-house LLM and Data Analytics Platforms

Desired skills and qualifications

  • You are an enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Management, Finance, Economics, Information Management or similar field of study
  • You have a good knowledge about standard MS Office/Google Suite, Project Management
  • You have experience with first data analytic skills / programming language preferred
  • Your English is fluent / a second European language (German, French or Spanish) would be a plus
  • You are a very good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
  • Experience and ambition working with Data Analytics and LLM Software such as Google Gemini.
