SECURITY CLEARANCE: Involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicants to be UK Nationals Only (No Dual Nationals) and able to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level
LOCATION: Site Based Mon-Fri - Newport, South Wales (relocation packages offered)
TYPE: Full time / Part time / STEM returner

We are welcoming you on board to join our Speciality Engineering team in order to enable projects to develop sustainable products and systems and ensure the availability of systems through life cycle support, planning and analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the design of these novel and interesting products and ensure that the system incorporates support considerations.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Ensure that supportability requirements are met in adherence to relevant standards
- Draft supportability management plans (ILSP)
- Produce and maintain monthly and quarterly reports (Obsolescence / MTA / LORA / STTE / AR&M)
- Maintain and update the project logistics information repository (LIR)
- Determine system criticality and provide failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA)
- Production / Maintenance / Validation of technical publications
ABOUT YOU
- Degree qualified in a technical discipline or equivalent time served experience
- Experience in the supportability and maintainability function in the defence industry
- Understanding of ILS standards e.g. Def Stan 00-600
