- About Position:
- Airbus is looking for Group Manager - Collaboration (IIDWA) to join the Bangalore, India location for the scope of Digital Workplace.
- The goal of this position is to be fully accountable for the deliverables of the team working for the IIDWA perimeter in India. He/She will be responsible to maintain and build the Strategy for India in line with the European DWA and DW Strategy with the target to have more product accountability in India. They will also be responsible to identify and drive synergies with other D functions in India. They are also accountable for the supplier deliverables out of India.
- Responsibilities:
- Hold the full responsibility to lead DWA team in India right direction to achieve the success and drive service delivery while aligning with overall objective for the perimeter
- Be fully accountable for the Product Management of DWA when transferred to India
- Manage and lead the team on day to day operational basis and drive continuous improvement process
- Develop autonomy in team and build accountability to services delivery with quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with team to optimize the IT operations
- Manage and monitor KPIs and SLAs while ensuring right level of communication to stakeholders
- Lead the team using a performance management and development process with the right training program.
- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when it’s required.
- Work with the business counterparts from Europe to interview and recruit right team based on the business need
- Manage and Escalate on time with proposed mitigation/corrective action if service delivery is not meeting expectation
- Coach, mentor, provide oversight and direction to the team accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
- Develop the team to take the delegation and empower them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's goal and objectives
- Manage work timing schedules, job rotation and vacations of the team
- Maintain transparent and appropriate communication with the team
- Responsible to take business decisions in accordance with organization policies and procedures
- Hold the full responsibility to lead DWA team in India right direction to achieve the success and drive service delivery while aligning with overall objective for the perimeter
- Responsible for driving programs and initiatives, secure harmonization and standardization together with global process owners in functional and technical domains
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new applications/Projects transition to operations etc.
- Ability to provide solutions, determine overall design direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
- Act as intercultural “bridge” between Europe and India
- Responsible to maintain the agreed SLA/OLAs
- Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged globally in projects
- Manage global communications and alignment with widely spread global stakeholders
- Strong passion for IT operations, modern platform mind-set and solving customer problems
- Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/Post Graduate with 10+ years of experience in service delivery and IT Operations Management with following criteria:
- Expert level:
- Leadership skills & Project Management
- Experience in setting-up & managing operations teams (Service Design, Transition, Operation)
- Ability to develop, engage and motivate people
- Experience in building new teams and experience in defining the road maps of any project/product engagement
- Service Delivery Management
- Leadership skills & Project Management
- Intermediate level:
- Business process analysis experience
- Understanding of the ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Service delivery architecture
- Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
- Professional Networking skills
- Managing Suppliers and Vendors
- Business process analysis experience
- Others:
- Knowledge of Aerospace domain, especially in Communication and IT supplier management
- Knowledge on Agile/ SAFe principle
- ITIL 4 certification is a must
- Quality management System awareness is desirable
- Capability to understand and deliver new business and customer requirements in the Digital domain
- Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
- Professional Networking skills
- Willingness to travel for long & short term to Europe
- Knowledge of Aerospace domain, especially in Communication and IT supplier management
