Main accountabilities:

  • Elaborate, optimize and communicate flight tests planning.

  • Prepare and manage flight tests dispatch. Insure availability of flight tests documentation (including on board and regulatory flight authorizations).

  • Follow-up tests execution to support maturity and safety.

  • Prepare and coordinate all the aspects of a test campaign.

  • Operate test means for flight tests (telemetry, radio, …).

  • Screen and optimize test requests, screen and optimize planning, support readiness for test execution in close relation with stakeholders, follow-up flight tests related certification documentation.

The jobholder is responsible of:

  • Leading the coordination with Flight Line, being the focal point of the Flight Test Department.

  • Developing of industrial flight test program and update in accordance with Flight test crew availability and industrial plan.

  • The status of the helicopter, managing the e-logbook, following the open points and discrepancies on the helicopter.

  • Preparing the briefing to the flight test crew notifying the open point to be tested during the flight.

  • Coordination with flight line and projects, performing the necessary contacts with both as well as with SDR in order to solve the open discrepancies.

  • Serial helicopter configuration in coordination with Flight test Crew and production flight line.

  • Leading the flight test team on charge of performing VEP.

  • Performing the necessary ground test (radios, VFDR, IBIT´s ……..)

  • Coordination with Data Analysis in order to solve the main open discrepancies.

  • Providing the necessary technical support to SDR and project.

  • Developing, update and control of the industrial flight protocols.

  • Preparing the industrial flight reports in accordance with KPI´s

  • Coordination with program during the customer acceptance phase.

  • Coordination with customer crew to fill the final acceptance flight reports.

  • Managing, update and following up of the helicopter applicable directives.
