Vos défis:

• Gestion de la Relation Client et des Données :
  • Établir et entretenir des relations de confiance avec les compagnies aériennes concernant la gestion de leurs pièces.
  • Analyser les données fournies par les départements internes pour identifier et corriger les incohérences avant transmission aux clients.
  • Mettre à jour et communiquer les listes de pièces BFE aux clients en adéquation avec les délais d’approvisionnement des pièces. Confirmer aux clients la bonne réception de leurs pièces.
• Coordination Logistique et Gestion des Risques :
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe logistique pour anticiper les risques de retard de livraison et élaborer des mesures d'atténuation.
  • Assurer le support à l'équipe logistique dans la clôture des non-conformités.
  • Assurer la gestion des escalades provenant de la ligne d'assemblage relatives aux retards de livraison qui pourraient compromettre directement la chaîne de production.
• Amélioration Continue :
  • Participer activement aux projets d'amélioration locaux et transnationaux.

Votre profil:

• Diplôme de niveau Baccalauréat (ou équivalent) et 3 à 5 ans d'expérience requis dans le domaine de la logistique.
• Expertise Logistique Aéronautique et Fournisseurs: Maîtrise des procédés logistiques spécifiques à l'aéronautique (cycles longs, normes qualité strictes, traçabilité,..).
• Gestion Client et Parties Prenantes (Internes/Externes): Expérience solide dans la gestion des attentes clients, anticipation des besoins et communication proactive sur l'état des commandes/livraisons BFE. Coordination constante avec équipes multidisciplinaires (Ingénierie, Achats, Production, Qualité).
• Capacités Analytiques et Décision Basée sur les Données: Aptitude à analyser des données complexes (ERP, tableaux de bord) pour extraire des tendances, identifier les goulots d'étranglement et proposer des actions correctives/préventives factuelles.
• Leadership et Résolution de Problèmes sous Contrainte: Solides compétences en leadership pour motiver/inspirer les équipes et fournisseurs. Capacité à trouver rapidement des solutions créatives et efficaces en situation de crise ou de délais serrés, tout en maintenant la qualité.
• Négociation et Priorités Stratégiques: Excellentes compétences de négociation pour influencer positivement et faire prioriser les livraisons BFE critiques chez les fournisseurs, en justifiant l'impact opérationnel/financier pour assurer la continuité de la chaîne de production A220.

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Operational Manager (f/m) to join our A220 Procurement Cabin team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the BFE managers team and the logistics team to secure the on-time and quality delivery of BFE parts.

You will be part of a team responsible for developing BFE equipment in coordination with suppliers and airlines.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as the operational manager for BFE parts will consist of keeping the lists of these parts, which customers must order directly from suppliers, up to date and then disseminating them to the airlines.

You will work closely with logistics teams and airlines to proactively anticipate any risk of late delivery of these parts. Your mission will include contributing to the definition of effective mitigation solutions to minimize potential impacts on the final assembly line.

Your challenges:

• Customer Relationship and Data Management:
  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with airlines regarding the management of their parts.
  • Analyze data provided by internal departments to identify and correct inconsistencies before transmission to customers.
  • Update and communicate BFE parts lists to customers in line with parts supply deadlines.
  • Confirm the good receipt of the parts to the Customers
• Logistics Coordination and Risk Management:
  • Collaborate closely with the logistics team to anticipate delivery delay risks and develop mitigation measures.
  • Provide support to the logistics team in closing non-conformities.
  • Manage escalations from the assembly line related to delivery delays that could directly compromise the production chain.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Actively participate in local and transnational improvement projects.

Your boarding pass:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3 to 5 years of experience required in the field of logistics.
• Strategic Stakeholder Management and Negotiation:
  • Manage customer expectations and proactively communicate BFE delivery status.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality).
  • Negotiate strongly with suppliers to prioritize critical BFE deliveries, justifying A220 production line impact.
• Data Analysis and Factual Decision-Making:
  • Analyze complex data (ERP, dashboards) to identify trends/bottlenecks.
  • Propose data-driven corrective/preventive actions for performance optimization.
• Leadership and Problem Solving Under Pressure:
  • Strong leadership to motivate teams and suppliers.
  • Quickly find creative, effective solutions in crises or under tight deadlines, maintaining quality.
