Ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Join the elite team at Airbus Space Navigation and play a key role in shaping the future of global satellite navigation. We're seeking a skilled Galileo Signal Verification Engineer to join our Customer Integrated Team at the ESTEC premises in Noordwijk, Netherlands .

As part of our expert team, you'll contribute directly to the implementation and verification of the next generation of Galileo navigation signals. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to work alongside the best in the field, with over 25 years of experience in developing Europe’s satellite navigation systems, EGNOS and Galileo.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

You'll be a vital contributor to the Galileo 2nd Generation (G2G) System team, ensuring the flawless performance of the navigation signal-in-space. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Verifying Navigation Signal Correctness and Performance: Support and execute system-level tests for G2G signal requirements, both before and after launch.
  • Data Analysis: Post-process test campaign data to derive key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on any non-conformance or anomalies.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve non-conformances, working closely with various Galileo segments.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as an on-site representative, liaising with customers and partners to discuss verification strategies and present results.


Who We're Looking For:

We're searching for an engineer with a passion for precision and a solid technical background. To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Navigation, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in space projects, preferably with Galileo or other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
  • Solid expertise in GNSS signal analysis , including digital signal processing (CDMA signals), modulation, and navigation receiver algorithms.
  • Strong skills in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++ .
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the flexibility to work effectively within an international, co-located team.
  • The ability to work autonomously with a strong analytical and methodological approach.

Note: You must either hold a valid Personal Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain one for this role.
