Future FALs Fuselage & Junctions Process Engineer (d/f/m)
You will join a highly motivated, diverse team in the FAL Industrial Architecture department who are shaping the future of Airbus. You will act as a vital connector, uniting team members in Toulouse and Hamburg across multiple departments including Final Assembly Lines, General Manufacturing Engineering, the Design Office, and Research and Technologies.
Your Location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with the lead final assembly line (FAL) industrial architect on the definition of the FAL for the next generation of Airbus aircraft.
- Defining, building, and updating key performance indicator projections (Figure of Merits bridges) regarding recurring costs, lead times, and non-quality costs compared to current aircraft generations.
- Creating comprehensive industrial baseline and trade dossiers to support architectural decisions.
- Representing the industrial architect in cross-functional project meetings.
- Integrating technical data from diverse stakeholders, including components, the design office, and industrial system engineers.
- Articulating the industrial architect vision to stakeholders while capturing and addressing their needs and expectations.
This role will involve some travel for business, mainly to Toulouse, a few times a year, and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Educated to a Master degree (or equivalent) in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience within the industrial field, with a specific focus on final assembly lines.
- Solid knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering disciplines, including jigs and tools.
- Ability to develop clear, objective visions on complex technical topics while maintaining a strong understanding of details.
- Strong collaboration skills with an open, honest communication style to effectively share data and insights with stakeholders.
- High adaptability and an innovative mindset to actively drive constant evolution in technical processes.
- Language skills: English at negotiation level; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
