Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Control - Validation Tool Project Leader (f/m) to join our Aircraft Stability & Control team, based in Toulouse, France.

Within the Aircraft Stability & Control team, you will manage a transverse project aiming to automatize verification & validation activities (covering all Airbus aircraft).

As main coordinator, you collect the needs from all users, push new functionalities, ensure right prioritization, ensure the link with the technical experts on one side, and with the development team on the other side.

Your challenges:

  • Responsibility for the MVV automation tool used by both Flight Control Laws & Handling Quality teams (MVV = Means of Verification & Validation).
  • Ownership of the business needs collection transversally for all Airbus programs, including iFCS where full traceability is required (iFCS = Integrated Flight Control System).
  • Implementation of absolute criteria allowing the automatic validation of various aircraft manoeuvers used for stability & control assessments. This activity is key for certification of new devices.
  • Prioritization of user requests or new functions development for best use of the available budget.
  • Manage the link with M&T team in charge of the software development.

Your boarding pass:

  • Experience in the aeronautics environment,
  • Automatic control or Flight Physic and dynamics background would be a plus,
  • Knowledge in Control simulation tools (i.e. Matlab, Simulink) or platforms (OSMA, OCASIME) would be a significant advantage.
  • Autonomous, while being a strong team player.
  • Good communication skills (interface with many different stakeholders, from different domains, different functions, and different countries).
  • Negotiation level in English mandatory,
  • French would be a plus
