Job Description:

A new vacancy for a FCS/UCS and TI coordinator at SAF CGEA - NSO/CAMO for Eurofighter has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Spain.

You will join the team working at the Spanish Air Force Headquarters (Madrid/Moncloa) as a coordinator for the Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon fleet. Main tasks and responsibilities include:

As FCS/UCS specialist:

  • Support to MOBs regarding Technical Queries resolution.

  • International Technical Instructions management (STOs, TWs, OOCRs).

  • National Technical Orders generation (OTCPs, SOs, QAs, DIs…).

  • Active monitoring of recurrent problems affecting the fleet.

  • Analyse and monitoring of relevant problems affecting other fleets.

  • Attendance to fleet operation improvement meetings.

  • Support any related activity concerning the system (e.g. STANAG study and technical assessment).

As TI&C#1 coordinator:

  • Coordinate any Technical Instruction received via IWSSC and R&R tool. Assign to the relevant specialist

  • Track responses, up issues and associated National Technical Orders

  • Track C#1 tasks raised by the SAF

  • Support reporting on TI and C1 tasks

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Engineering degree

  • +5 years of experience in Engineering, in particular on Aeronautical Engineering

  • Proven knowledge and experience in aeronautical structures, within the Eurofighter environment

  • Technical knowledge of Aircraft General Systems

  • Customer service oriented profile, with advanced communication skills and assertiveness

  • Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally

  • Advanced level of English
