Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Lead Engineer for A330 / A380 / A400M (M/F) to join our Fuselage Structure Analysis Team based in Toulouse, France.

Within the transnational engineering team for Fuselage Structrures 1AFS, the selected candidate will join the 1AFSK7 and will be responsible for all F&DT stress activities for the 3 programs: A330, A380, and A400M. Your future role is called Lead Engineer which is part of the Engineer Development Path (i.e. Engineer / Lead Engineer / Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer).

Your challenges :

  • A330 program: series & development activities (e.g. modifications, incremental development projects)
  • A380 program: mainly post-delivery activities (e.g. update of Inspection Requirement Documents, correction of Stress Reports)
  • A400M: mainly post-delivery (e.g. LAP12, AAR Cycle Extension)
  • Take ownership of the F&DT activities for the defined scope
  • Be responsible for all F&DT deliverables within the scope mentionned above
  • Organise and follow-up activities with internal WF as well as with suppliers and extended make
  • Technically follow-up the activities within this scope and liase with internal stakeholders (DOT leaders, Senior Engineers, CVE, Signators) and external stakeholders (Supplier, Extended make, VSM, Programme) to ensure the quality and performance
  • Be the key / previledged point of contact to the DOT leaders for all activities within the scope
  • Be part and the technical network within 1AFS by proactively participating in meetings / forums and promoting synergies across teams / skills / programs

Your boarding pass :

  • Strong Experience in F&DT
  • Good knowledge of LR program
  • Knowledge of A380 and A400 program
  • Technical signatories are clearly a plus
  • Fluent in French and good in English
  • Good communication skill is useful
