CONTEXT OF THE POSITION...

This position is responsible for the overall management of the FAL SA (L1&L2) and WB Industrial Ramp up & Adaptation Management . This position will ensure the ramp up and rate adaptation is executed within defined scope, budget, and schedule. This includes monitoring project performance, managing project resources, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage the TJN side overall ramp up project activities for both SA & WB. Including project resources and budget.

Lead project start up, plan, development, test, deploy and close phase. Ensuring the business objectives and project deliverables are delivered on quality within scope, schedule and cost .

Ensure the proper baseline definition for a balance ramp up for FAL considering the integration of SA Line 1 and Line 2, together with WB business. Following the criteria to drive the model: Safety and Quality in all WE DO, People Development and Poly-Poly and Continuous performance improvement.

Develop project budget, manage project CapEx and OpEx. Create financial forecasts and identify opportunities for performance improvement with a direct impact on aircraft unit cost, including but not limited to: optimum resources per point of rate utilization, ensure CVAT bridge YoY, build a robust and homogenous SLB, enable the adherence to SLB and the disruption reporting via MES,...

Manage and collaborate with stakeholders, communicate and understand stakeholders requirements and expectations, solve conflict and achieve stakeholders and customers satisfaction.

Identify projects and ramp up risk and opportunity, analyze, monitor and control risks by implementing mitigation plans.

Monitor and report project performance to monthly Project Portfolio Management and central VSM SARU and WB program / Ramp up governance

Focal point to VSM for FAL Tianjin Capacity Confirmation Plan for all SA Lines (CCP)

QUALIFICATION

EDUCATION: Technical or Engineering undergraduate education background

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar high-profile position, with a proven and successful track record in a similar role within the aviation or manufacturing industry. Experience working with a multi-national organization is ideal.

PMI certification or Airbus PM certification is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Technical Skills:

  • G Suite and project management software such as Planisware.

LANGUAGE: Fluency in speaking, understanding, writing, and reading both Chinese and English.

Soft Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work across a number of disciplines in a professional and effective manner.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and to manage conflicts
  • Ability to work in an unstructured and frequently pressurized environment.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Willing and capable of effectively managing complex projects and successfully interacting with international partners in a multicultural environment.
