Job Description:

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring the materiel support to Eurofighter prototype jets within Spain as well as in the rest of Eurofighter Partner Company in the day-to-day operations.

This will involve co-ordination operational meetings with prototypes engineers reporting to FDSG Asset Manager.

Provide all necessary materiel for Eurofighter jet maintenance and Retrofit programmes ensuring that the support is continuously adapted to customer needs by increasing the overall level of quality and information.

The job holder is responsible, in terms of materiel, for supporting the Strategic Fleet Plan schedule by Airbus Spain Flight Test Centre, Development and In-Service Programmes as well as Campaigns related Future Capabilities.

The scope of the job includes:

• Kit management for prototype and In-Service aircrafts
• Ordering kitsets and spare parts
• Demands
• Request for disposal
• Prepare kit list
• Receive and dispatch
• Lay-up providing
• EF GmbH IT tools management
• Transport supervision

Requirements:

• It’s desirable but not mandatory to have experience in Eurofighter programme
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Advance level of Spanish
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
• Self-motivated to deliver the agreed objectives within a diverse environment
• Good problem solving skills
• Good communicator, challenging style, cooperative and proactive attitude
• Creative with an ability to deal with new demanding work-related situations
• IT literate (MS Office, PDT, SMIS, CMS, IETP and SAP)
