Flugversuchsingenieur (d/m/w) für Produktions- und Entwicklungsflugtests an Hubschraubern

Als leitender Flugtestingenieur (LFTE) gemäß EASA PART21 zu arbeiten umfasst folgendes Aufgabenfeld:

Ein Flugtestingenieur wird mit Aufgaben in einem Luftfahrzeug beauftragt, um Flugtests durchzuführen oder den Piloten beim Betrieb des Luftfahrzeugs und seiner Systeme während Flugtestaktivitäten zu unterstützen. LFTEs sind Flugtestingenieure, die als Flugtestbesatzungsmitglieder besondere Pflichten und Privilegien haben, um die Systeme des Luftfahrzeugs entweder direkt oder über spezielle Flugtestinstrumente zu bedienen. Die die Systeme des Luftfahrzeugs können dabei erheblich beeinträchtigt werden. Das Wort „Unterstützung“ (der Piloten) sollte im Sinne der kritischen Aktionen verstanden werden, die vom LFTE durchgeführt werden könnten, wenn dies im Flugtestauftrag gefordert und vom verantwortlichen Luftfahrzeugführer genehmigt wurden. Ein LFTE ist außerdem für die vorgelagerte Vorbereitung der Flugtests und die abschließende Validierung der Flugtestergebnisse verantwortlich.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Als Teil der Flugbesatzung fungieren Sie bei der Durchführung von Produktions-, Entwicklungs- und Zertifizierungsflugtestaktivitäten an Drehflüglern
  
• Durchführung von Flugtestaktivitäten gemäß Flug-, Sicherheits- und Qualitätsvorschriften inkl. Verifizierung und Validierung von Flugtestergebnissen
  
• Genehmigung von Flugtestprogrammen für Zertifizierungs- oder Entwicklungsprojekte
  
• Dokumentation und/oder Genehmigung von Flugtestberichten
  
• Koordination und Unterstützung aller relevanten Testaktivitäten zur Erlangung einer Fluggenehmigung
  
• Koordination der Aktivitäten mit der Konstruktionsabteilung, der Fluglinie, der Prototypenwerkstatt und der Qualitätssicherung
  
• Stellen Sie das Onboarding und die Standardisierung für Bodentestaktivitäten in der Fluglinie sicher
  
• Sorgen Sie für eine kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Aktualisierung der Flug-, Sicherheits- und Qualitätsvorschriften gemäß den örtlichen behördlichen Vorschriften
  
• Gewährleisten Sie die Koordinierung und Nachverfolgung von Änderungen der örtlichen Flugvorschriften und schließen Sie bei Bedarf Korrekturmaßnahmen ab
  
• Anpassung und Erstellung von Flugtestanweisungen
  

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Abschluss in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder ähnlichem
  
• Berufserfahrung im Ingenieurwesen
  
• Deutschkenntnisse wünschenswert
  
• Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Französisch und Englisch
  
• Sprechfunkzeugnis in englischer Sprache
  
• Privatpilotenlizenz (A) oder (H) bevorzugt
  
• Fähigkeit, die medizinische Tauglichkeitsklasse 2 zu erreichen
  
• D esign Office Erfahrung
  
• Hohes Maß an Flexibilität und Mobilität, weltweite Reisen, ggf. auch kurzfristig.
  
• Fähigkeit, über einen längeren Zeitraum außerhalb des AHD-Standorts zu bleiben (Training für CAT 1 LFTE-Bewertung)

Production/Development Flight Test Engineer

Acting as Lead flight test engineer (LFTE) as defined in EASA PART21: A flight test engineer is assigned for duties in an aircraft for the purpose of conducting flight tests or assisting the pilot in the operation of the aircraft and its systems during flight test activities. LFTEs are Flight Test Engineers (FTEs) that have specific duties and privileges as a flight test crew member, to operate the test aircraft’s systems either directly or through dedicated flight test instrumentation, that could significantly interfere with the aircraft basic systems. The word ‘assisting’ (the pilots) should be understood in the sense of the critical actions which could be performed by the LFTE, if requested by the flight test order and agreed by the pilot-in-command. LFTE are also in charge of upstream preparation of flights tests and final validation of flight tests results'

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Act as part of the flight crew to conduct production, development and certification flight test activities on rotorcraft
  
• Conduct flight test activities in accordance with flight-, safety- and quality-regulations incl. verification and validation of flight test results
  
• Approval of flight test programs for certification or development projects
  
• Documentation and or approval of flight test reports
  
• Coordination and support of all relevant test activities to achieve a permit to fly
  
• Coordination of activities with engineering department, flight line, prototype shop and quality assurance
  
• Ensure onboarding and standardization for ground test activities in the flight line
  
• Ensure continuous improvement and update of flight-, safety- and quality-regulations in accordance with local authority regulations
  
• Ensure coordination and tracking of changes of local flight regulations and finalization of correcting actions if necessary
  
• Adaptation and creation of flight test instructions
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Final degree in aerospace technology or similar
  
• Professional experience in engineering
  
• German language knowledge preferable
  
• Advanced knowledge of French and English
  
• Radio license in English
  
• Privat Pilot License (A) or (H) preferable
  
• Ability to achieve Medical Class 2
  
• Design Office Experience
  
• High level of flexibility and mobility, worldwide travels, possibly at short notice.
  
• Ability to stay outside AHD location for a prolonged period (Training for CAT 1 LFTE rating)
