Zur Unterstützung der Abteilung Safety & Environment sucht Airbus Helicopters eine/n General Environment & Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer (d/m/w)

Als Systemingenieur (d/m/w) im Bereich Elektromagnetische Gefährdung und Allgemeine Umweltbedingungen sind Sie an der Entwicklung und Definition von Hubschrauber- und Systemdesigns beteiligt. Sie begleiten Programme in allen Entwicklungsphasen, beginnend mit der frühen Konzeptphase, über die Entwicklung und Zulassung unserer Produktlinien bis hin zur Unterstützung der fliegenden Flotte im Betrieb.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Definition und Implementierung von Anforderungen an die elektromagnetische Widerstandsfähigkeit, einschließlich der anzuwendenden Zulassungsanforderungen und Einflussnahme auf die Gesamtarchitektur, um optimierte Lösungen zu erzielen, die gegen elektromagnetisch induzierte Effekte und anormale Umweltbedingungen resistent sind.
  
• Definition und Steuerung des Qualifizierungsprozesses (Verfahren, Tests, Analysen) für Ausrüstungsteile bezüglich EMV- und Umweltanforderungen.
  
• Leitung von Zulassungssprozessen, Erstellung von Zulassungsplänen und Dokumentationen mit Behörden für EMV- und Allgemeine Umweltaspekte.
  
• Identifizierung, Definition, Überwachung und Analyse von Tests auf Hubschrauber-, System- und Ausrüstungsebene, die für die Entwicklung oder Qualifizierung durchgeführt werden.
  
• Definition des Arbeitsumfangs für EMV-bezogene Aktivitäten, Erstellung von Aufgaben für Partner und Sicherstellung kontinuierlicher Verbesserung, Innovation, Kostenreduzierung und Effizienz.
  
• Unterstützung der Endmontagelinien (FAL) mit Bonding Test Spezifikationen und der System Design Responsible (SDR) bei der Konzeption von Komponenten und Ausrüstung, die den Umweltanforderungen entsprechen.
  

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Master-Abschluss (oder gleichwertig) in Elektronik, Elektrotechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Studienfach.
  
• Mindestens 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung in den Bereichen Allgemeine Umweltbedingungen, Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV), High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) und Blitzeffekte.
  
• Erfahrung in der Konstruktion und Entwicklung von Flugzeugen, Hubschraubern und/oder deren Ausrüstung und Systemen ist von Vorteil.
  
• Sie zeichnen sich durch eine selbstständige Arbeitsweise sowie den Wunsch aus, sich persönlich und fachlich kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.
  
• Teamwork ist Ihnen ebenso wichtig wie uns.
  
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse sind ein Muss; gute schriftliche und mündliche Deutsch- und/oder Französischkenntnisse runden Ihr Profil ab.

In order to support our Safety and Environment team, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a General Environment & Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer (d/f/m)

As a System Engineer in the field of electro-magnetic hazard (EMH) and General Environment you will take part in the development and definition of aircraft and system designs. You will be covering programs in all development phases starting with the early concept phase, throughout the development and certification of our product lines, up to the in-service support of the flying fleet.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours, but a minimum of 30 hours/week and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Define and implement Electro-Magnetic Hardness (EMH) requirements, including applicable certification requirements, and influence aircraft architectures to achieve optimized solutions resistant to electromagnetic induced effects and abnormal environmental conditions
  
• Define and control the qualification process (procedure, tests, analysis) for equipment items concerning EMH and environment requirements.
  
• Lead certification processes and create certification plans and summaries with authorities for EMH and General Environment aspects.
  
• Identify, define, monitor, and analyze tests at rotorcraft, system, and equipment levels performed for development or qualification.
  
• Define the work scope for EMH-related activities, create tasks for partners, and ensure continuous improvement, innovation, cost reduction, and efficiency.
  
• Support Final Assembly Lines (FAL) with Bonding Test Specifications and System Design Responsible (SDR) in the conception of components and equipment complying with environmental requirements
  

Desired skills and qualifications

• Master of Science degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Electromagnetism or a comparable field of study
  
• At least 3-5 years experience in the fields of General Environment, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), High-Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Lightning Effects
  
• Experience in the design and development of aircraft’s, helicopters and/or their equipment and systems would be beneficial
  
• You are characterized by your autonomous way of working, desire to continuously learn and evolve personally and technically
  
• Teamwork is just as important to you as it is to us
  
• Fluent in English is a must, good written and verbal German and/or French language skills would round off your profile
