Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Compiling and analyzing complex input data on aircraft cabin and cargo configurations for the interpretation and evaluation of aerodynamic characteristics based on gas-dynamic simulations .
  • Applying data science techniques to analyze complex geometric and gas dynamic data to identify trends .
  • Developing and implementing algorithms and scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks (programming and coding) .
  • Conducting numerical analysis and simulations of complex cabin configurations and providing actionable insights .
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including cabin & cargo design, stress, and systems engineers .
  • Managing projects related to rapid decompression analysis, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards .

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Background in Aerodynamics, ideally with a focus on internal flows and experience in structural and cabin design .
  • Proficiency in Data science principles, statistical analysis, and machine learning .
  • Expertise in Programming and coding (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and proficiency in CATIA for 3D design .
  • Proven ability in Project Management and an agile, open-minded approach to problem-solving .
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German .
  • Willingness to travel for business (up to once or twice per month) worldwide.
