Key Responsibilities:
- Perform static and F&DT analysis to assess the structural impact of manufacturing non-conformities, airframe repairs, reworks, and modifications.
- Ensure adherence to Airbus methods, processes, and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Airbus departments to develop optimal solutions.
- Work towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation for concessions on primary and secondary aircraft structures.
- Review, approve, or pre-approve stress justification reports for aircraft concessions.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and support the development of stress engineers in the delegation process.
- Develop and maintain component and aircraft familiarity to ensure prompt response to production needs.
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in static stress analysis of aircraft structures, with a strong understanding of F&DT concepts.
- Experience handling concessions for aerospace components, preferably Airbus structures.
- Understanding of certification requirements and experience with stress dossiers.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Methods (FEM/FEA) and stress analysis tools (e.g., ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM).
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, aircraft loads, and material behavior.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to develop towards and maintain Technical Signature Delegation.
