Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Embedded Software Development Engineer (f/m) to join our Avionics and Simulation department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing critical avionics products and high-fidelity simulators.
As part of the Avionics and Simulation Products domain, you will be involved in the design and production of embedded systems (Flight Controls, Flight Warning) aiming at securing Aircraft deliveries on time and Quality.

Your challenges:
- Implement the full V-cycle of embedded real-time low level software from high-level specification to hardware integration.
- Conduct integration and verification activities using specialized test tools like probes, bus analyzers, and emulators.
- Analyze customer needs to propose reusable and harmonized software solutions within a regulated environment (DO178).
- Provide technical support by analyzing failure reports and responding to complex technical queries.
- Contribute to process improvements by introducing innovative technologies and DevOps methodologies.
You will report to a manager responsible for a portfolio of avionics software products, within an agile organization with flexible role assignments.
You will operate in a highly regulated environment (DO178B/C, DAL A to C software.

As a Senior Technical Leader, you blend deep aeronautical mastery specifically in flight physics and control laws with a relentless drive for project excellence. Your strategic command of the V-cycle and high-fidelity simulation makes you a decisive authority within the Design Office.
- Background in Engineering specialized in Aeronautics, Embedded Systems or Computer Science.
- Professional experience in software development for embedded critical operating systems.
- Technical expertise in C programming language within a critical embedded context.
- Proficiency in Software engineering methods, V-cycle development, and standard DEVOPS environments.
- Advanced level of English and French (negotiation level).
