Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Electrical Power Distribution Engineer (f/m) to join our Electrical Distribution, Conversion & Network Quality Team based in Toulouse, France .

You will lead the development of future Low Voltage (115Vac & 28Vdc) platforms to meet ambitious aircraft decarbonisation goals. This role focuses on identifying and maturing breakthrough electrical technologies while supporting in-service operations.

Your challenges:

  • Specify functional and performance requirements for electrical distribution systems and techno-bricks.
  • Steer external suppliers to ensure equipment development compliance with safety, cost, and quality standards.
  • Define electrical architectures including function allocation and safety requirements cascading.
  • Evaluate solutions and technologies for future aircraft designs using simulation models like Matlab or CATIA.
  • Support suppliers in technical challenges and manage equipment Development Reviews.

Your boarding pass:

  • Engineering degree with solid experience in electrical systems and high voltage constraints/power electronics.
  • Proven experience in project management and steering external suppliers in a transnational environment.
  • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to interact and negotiate effectively.
  • Advanced level of English (negotiation level) is required for this role.
