This is an external temp job oportunity. The candidate will join EEE Engineering and Radiation Team in EEE Parts, Materials and Processes Quality Assurance Department in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) working on the different Space business: Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). Functionally, the candidate is also part of the Project, with the main mission of being the main technical interface with design area for EEE Parts, Applications and radiation engineering.
The candidate’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the proposal phase to the final delivery of the flight model once accepted.

Task and Accountabilities

  • Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA): Lead and perform Total Ionization Dose (TID), Single Event Effects (SEE), and Displacement Damage Dose (DDD) radiation analysis reports for spaceflight hardware.
  • Test Campaign Management: Develop plans, procedures, and support or lead radiation evaluation test campaigns for EEE parts, including conducting testing and generating final analysis reports.
  • Compliance and Selection: Review and assess EEE parts, circuits, and designs against program-specific radiation and space charging requirements, ensuring full compliance with space standardization systems (e.g., MIL, ESCC).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the subject matter expert, working closely with circuit-design, avionics, and system-level teams to define radiation impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Documentation & Reporting: Produce high-quality, clear, and well-structured technical reports, summaries, and recommendations, and present radiation design risks at program milestone reviews.
